Each element—from laboratory equipment to architectural details—represents the disciplines that serve the school’s community college mission. Through a combination of painted realism and intentional abstraction, I transform documentary photographs into a composite image that reveals the institution’s diverse range of educational offerings.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStudents, faculty, and community members will recognize familiar spaces transformed through paint, revealing new connections between the physical campus and the institution’s educational mission.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are two special locations highlighted in the painting.
